Weekend minimoron: bagged

There is instant travel option between Thetford and Fort Sterling, so our specimen wasted 7K over not spending 30 secs "traveling". Unless he makes 840K/hour (hahahaha), his slacking cost him dearly.

Maybe he doesn't care at all about gold because the game is in alpha and is reset (somewhat) often? So hoarding gold right now doesn't matter to most people who aren't focused on maximizing getting gold.

That's not even the worst example. I've sold several T5 leather armor pieces for over 30k in Fort Sterling that I bought for 13-14k in Martlock/Bridgewatch. Fast travel really is OP for trading.

@Raphael
We all know that there will be exactly the same behaviour "after release" :D

Yeah. but I'd be wanting to get into good habits not bad ones :)

You can have good habits, and still go "meh, this game is in alpha". I don't treat practise rounds of an MMO where stuff is reset regularly the same way I treat the actual release.

So what if you are the richest player (As Gevlon always has as his aim) in Alpha? It will be deleted when they reset.

Not everyone is the type of person who practises all their moves in alpha and beta to minimise every wasted second or gold.

... @Hanura, I am missing something or you pay (quiet a lot) when fast travelling with equipment or stuff in your bag?
For sure fast traveling naked to search for a piece of equipment, bag, is the way to go ... not sure at all it is viable for trading.

Fast traveling yourself is free. Fast traveling items costs money. The cost is nothing compared to the value of most items.

@Looch: fast travel costs are 50 or 100 silver/kg, depending on your location. T5 gear weights between 2.5 and 5.1kg, so at best you're paying 510 silver for fast traveling per item.

That's nothing compared to the 15k in price difference.
