Weekend minipost: the battle of O-2RNZ

Mordus pilots keep on showing extraordinary courage. A bunch of inties engaged Goon capitals and emerged victorious!

I have a dilemma: is this the work of a master troll or a total idiot?

I also learned the following: Mordus Angels kills random ships and takes systems, but don't hold them for long. This makes them totally irrelevant trash.
The Goons on the other hand deploy to Providence to kill random ships and to take systems, but don't hold them for long. This makes them the winners of EVE.
Makes sense.

PS: anyone knows where low-grade nomad implants come from? I couldn't find them in the Thukker LP store.

PS2: it's a weekend minipost, stupid stuff and propaganda time. Don't read weekend miniposts if you don't like that.

Your dilemma killmail is probably an attempt to imitate Mr Hyde's april video about laser rokhs.

The difference between MoA not having any sov at all and only existing in null by virtue of Mordu's Legion NPC station and Goon that has completely encircled MoA with its SoV that MoA can barely break and take but is unable to further maintain is pretty big.

What is interesting to me is whether MoA is catching up at all in terms of sov domination prospects.
Alternatively, one can argue that sov is completely irrelevant to the "little guys vs big guys" metawar

The difference is that goons already hold sov and there's no serious threat to it. On the other hand, MOA is a NPC space alliance and only entosises random stuff using trollceptors.

All the low grade implants come from ghost sites in highsec and lowsec, and that's their only source, I believe.

Moa is interesting in that they take fights others wouldn't and come out ahead, some of the time. I'm certainly surprised, if not a little impressed.

The angry shouts of "but they're irrelevant" make me laugh also.

Seems like CCP should start marketing on the 'irrelevant' parts of the player base. They're having more fun and getting more kills than the 'relevant' parts....

Something uncomfortable for the relevant to ponder.

Surely the difference is clear: if goons wanted to take provi space and hold it, they probably could. If MoA wanted to take goon space and hold it, they could not. So MoA faffing around with sov is kind of irrelevant, there is no chance to keep any gains, while at least there is the possibility if goons decided to go for it that they could take and keep provi systems in the long term. The main thing stopping goons from doing this is not ability but the desire and will to make it happen.

That's indeed the only difference: people believe that Goons could do X if they wanted to, while they believe MoA couldn't.

That's all Goons have: subjective beliefs of dumb people who care for their propaganda.

But MoA has the burden of proof here. When they are able to hold sov (hold, not take) they should go ahead and show it. Grab a system and get it to a strategic index up to 5. Should be easy.

The declared purpose of MoA is to defeat Goons/Imperium, not to hold Sov and rat. Should they do it just to please you at the expense of not killing Goons?

You place a burden on us to prove something to you, and when we say we don't want to you say it is not because we don't want to, but because we cannot. Why should we be doing anything (like kicking our slackers instead of just keeping them as F1 pilots, attacking your plex freighter, or whatever else) to please you, or anyone for that matter?

"The declared purpose of MoA is to defeat Goons/Imperium"

https://www.themittani.com/features/alliance-profile-mordus-angels I cannot find the stated purpose there to be destruction of goons.

http://evemaps.dotlan.net/alliance/Mordus_Angels: We are an INDPENDENT NPC ALLIANCE living in PURE BLIND KILLING GOONIES AND THEIR PETS FOR 8+ YEARS NOW

While indeed "defeating" isn't present, "killing them for 8+ years" is a pretty strong hint.

Well the problem is, "killing them for 8+ years" is inaccurate, since Goons haven't been living in Deklein and surrounding areas for 8+ years at all. Until 2010 or so, Mordus Angels was serious roleplayers and did not have the grr goons going on at all. Grr Goons only became clearly evident after they were kicked from CFC.

Nontheless, goons have proved themselves capable of holding sov when contested, that's why goons attacking a system is relevant and MoA isn't. Until MoA can demonstrate why them taking systems is a credible threat, it won't be treated as anything more important than the messing around in frigates you so despise. I am afraid the burden of proof her is on MoA to justify why Goons should care; your quote shows it perfectly, no effect after 8 years.

Outnumbered 30 to 1; I think MoA is doing pretty damn good. Why do we need to take sov? We just need to keep killing you guys till you stop logging in.

"I am afraid the burden of proof her is on MoA to justify why Goons should care"

Why do we care if you care? Though I have to say you must care a little since you're posting your tears here. You trying to troll our favorite goblin? lol.

You keep caring and uh... we'll keep killing. ;)

"We just need to keep killing you guys till you stop logging in."
Which will never happen because you can't do enough damage. With good leadership an alliance of your size would be a formidable opponent. Instead you're a joke.

did not happen since 8 years now, according to your ally descriptions. seems like op-success..

You guys are killing me... with laughter. Please stop.

So why all the tears? Was that your freighter that popped? For not caring you guys do make a lot of noise.

Are you mad?

Trolling =/ Tears

i dont see imperium tears here.

The difference between MoA and Imperium is that the latter hold a shitload of systems and do the provi campaign as a protest to CCP while MoA do not hold anything and can't even afford unsubsidiarized 0.0 ganking... They run whenever they lose more than two ships... Basically, they are like 0.0 Code. only that they do not worship James, but GG...

And ganking freighters calling "engaging Capitals" is somewhat ridiculous...
