GRR Goons summary page

I've completely remade the GRR Project permanent page and made pages more visible on the blog.

Until August the project in numbers:
  • The Marmite Collective highsec wars caused 1428B ISK damage to CFC. Highsec wars clearly do nothing.
  • Darwins Lemmings caused 402B ISK damage to CFC in their brief life.
  • Mordus Angels caused 361B damage to CFC since I'm supporting them. Obviously they would have done damage without support, so my exact contribution can only be guessed.
  • I spent 289B ISK on the project.

Good thing, that Mordus Donation Board. I will soon contribute my little share.

Now, how about a "Burn Goon Structure Day / Week"? Just like Burn Jita, announce a certain day / week where all of EVE is invited to attack Goon structures anywhere - the point being that so many Goon structures will be put into reinforce in the more or less same moment that they cannot show up to defend all the timers at the same time. So while some anti-Goon fleets will have to turn back on their timers, some will have leisure to complete what they have started, because the Goon blobs are elsewhere at the same time. Good idea? Bad idea?

Reading that - any thoughts on a public Goon structure timerboard?
Sortable by region, constellation, time, type of structure and whatnot. And some sort of feedback system, so that spammers of false information (which Goons will do on a public board) can be filtered out after some time.

Leave their structures alone! Forming large timer fleets is the specialty of Goons don't attack them in their strongest point.

than what is their weakest point?

The weakest point is their ratters. Drive them out of highsec and if they can't use the space, they won't bother defending it.

They can form large(r) fleets, true. But only 2 or 3 per alliance. The idea is to produce so many timers at the same time that they cannot be there to defend them all.
But I agree that attacking their ratters is a good idea.

If you're going to siege structures in a decently short amount of time, you need either a large (100 plus) fleet of decent dps subcaps, or you need capital ships. Either would be easy pickings for a subcap fleet or a much larger cap fleet, respectively. If you're shooting structures in a ****ninja fleet**** of 20 drakes or whatever the fuck, it will take you hours and hours to reinforce a single ihub and you will burn out without the goons having to even wreck your shit.

Also, it's not as if the diffuse detritus of highsec could even organize such a campaign in the first place. Gevlon's plan of "throwing money at marginally competent groups" is not going to actually bring down THE GOONS, but it has the advantage of at least returning something akin to results, instead of the ruin and lamentation of its perpetrators.
