Gaze into the eye of the Medusa, bee guys

Recently, strange kills shown up in Pure Blind and Deklein, with a logo long not seen in North: AFKtar, FCON-thing, Vitator, LAWN was alive in Deklein, Armor AFKtar???, Karmafleet thing, another great FCON fit, SMA whatisthis, SMA Idonteven, karma linktengu, FCON greatfit with pod, Karma ratter, ratter, prepared for PvP, horrifit ratting archon, Armageddon-thing, FCON smartbombing hurricane?!, decent AFKtar, SMA.... All these since April 4th.

The Gorgon Empire, one of the few top killers of 2015 who weren't involved in World War Bee deployed to Pure Blind for about "half Gorrilion" from me to fight in PB and Deklein.

I hired them, because I'm still worried that some form of armistice will be achieved with Goons before Deklein is hit. Goons can't care less for their allies and losing Fade, Tenal, Vale, Branch, Tribute don't bother them. Nothing bothers them but their ratting ticks and that's in Deklein. Currently only one system is reinforced in Deklein and it makes me jumpy. It is a valid strategy to kill the "allies" while the Goons rat peacefully and hit Deklein when Goons are all alone as all their "allies" are dead, fled or turned on them. But the plan of Goons is also valid: burn out half of the enemy while entosising thousands of timers and make a treaty with the other half. So I want Deklein be hit right now.

The original contract was for doing timers and capturing systems in Deklein, but the clever girls set them to AUTZ. Instead of cancelling, we agreed that Gorgon will hunt and AFK cloak ratters, find and destroy valuable towers. And above all:
These are the first ones to arrive. I offered full SRP on top of the contract for dreads dying to ratting carrier blob fights and against supers. I want to get rid of both the medium shield booster menace and those nasty smartbombing titans decimating innocent entosis interceptors. I'm also financing a dread fleet to MoA for the same reason.

I hope that they will contribute significantly to keeping up the momentum of the War after the easy targets (everything except Deklein and Pure Blind) are taken. Well, the AFK cloaking part clearly works against those bee guys:

ADM 6 systems in Dek are going to be a pain in the ass to reinforce and destryo, making a truce likely. Hopefully Gorgon push those numbers down.

Waffles is part of the push in Pure Blind and Fade. We dominate the majority of capture events but the sheer manpower needed and high ADMs make it slow going.

A region has about 100 systems each with 3-4 capture events required (ihub, tcu, 2 for the station). It's just a hell of a lot to digest. A capture can take 3 hours.

CFC defenders are occasionally successful at beating capture teams but for the most part the reason many timers fail is simply that there's not enough people entosising.

Your use of Gorgon Empire to inhibit ratting in Deklein is very useful because high ADMs really slow us down. If you could hire someone to inhibit ratting in eastern Pure Blind that would help a lot too.

I'm not sure if that's a good strategy... If they stop ratting they might actually start defending their space...

@Stabs: I'm not sure that taking all the damn timers is the best strategy. I mean who cares if an SMA TCU is still standing in some part of Fade. Taking stations to lock them out is needed, but the rest can wait. The problem is that the awful lot of entosising WILL burn out people and if enough people are burned out, the Goons leave this war unscratched. Sure, with no "allies", but they never cared about them.

@Vincent: no, if they stop ratting, they either stop logging in or just quit Imperium and join Shadow of xXDeathXx.

The DroneWalkers in Tenal seem to be very apt at taking Sov. Until just the other day they only had 25 members ( as per seen on Dotlan stats ), they are now 40-ish, but they are steadily marching through Tenal. Those guys should be given medals and if any ISK needs to find a home to support someone, it should go to them.

I assume the Drone Walkers is a cover group of alts to take Sov for some group that does not want to reveal itself this time (most probably xXDeathXx). It's obvious that they couldn't take, keep or even need Sov for a 40-men alliance.

Re - Drone Walkers - It might just be that they are having fun and seeing how far they can get to Deklein :) I noticed they have an ad on r/evejobs.

That is indeed the plan. Burn Fade / Branch / Pure Blind to the ground while leaving Deklein alone. Let every ally of goons see that while their stuff is getting captured, goons continue to rat and mine in Dek.

Then, when every other region is dead and all other alliances are gone / moved, then burn down Deklein.

It was a joke, obviously lower ADM will hurt them. I said that because their participation to defense is always very low.

I shouldn't worry much about Deklein. Plenty of us know where the final prize is. Some MBC burn out, but, if goons start to really defend Deklein then they will all flock back in once goon killmails are happening again. If goons don't defend then, well we just mop up Deklein.

Knowing goons as I do, I suspect this war will not be the end of them, infact I think they will continue on as they have always done. One thing that many haven't made comment on thus far is the fact that almost all of the timers with the exception of a couple have not been defended or contested.

I suspect that CFC's will back off, let the attackers run riot over CFC's space to the point that they take the majority of it, burn themselves out, then loose interest and go their separate ways, then CFC's will just counter and take as much of their space back as possible.

Co2 have left, but they are stuck right in the middle, can't see them lasting long. Yes you can see downward slopes with several of the CFC Alliances, but that will be members and corps leaving who are more carebear related or just not interested in the war and leaving for greener pastures.

Having been in the CFC's for over 2 years until recently, I left through boredom, I can tell you now, we haven't seen even half their capabilities deployed. This isn't a war, Until I see Capitals used in serious amounts, this is nothing more than small fights. Remember CFC Alliances have substantial Capital forces, so far we haven't seen them at all.

Damon: cause you can't get folks to log in bro, 500 for SOTG address 200 fleet up wtf bro you leader called and 3/5ths said FU mittens and went back to ratting.

Provi Miner: Sorry Bro, not in the CFC's anymore, actually haven't been for more than 4 months, I hate goons, equally as much as I hate PL and Test. Was a SMA toon for a long time. I'm surprised though that CFC's(I hate the name Imperium) haven't deployed their cap fleets, this honestly as I said earlier, makes me think there is another plan running in the background.

I have some work to do in the house when that is finished I am re-subbing my two main accounts as I can operate in the Au TZ. I will jump into an entosis ship and go and help remove their sov.

I think Damon makes very good points, that is obviously the CFC plan, they much prefer to do an offensive war and this having to defend their own space was meh for them and has resulted in their decline. I think they will sit in lowsec and see how much they can get then start operating for fun hoping to get back the inactive. The key thing is that PL and others must sit in key cyno systems looking for these people logging back in with their Supers and Titans getting ready for the counter attack and remove them, forcing a fight on trapped capitals will further hurt CFC morale.

One evident issue is that many of the better Goons have left the CFC and are with PL and others, I hope that the decline of the CFC is enough for the allies to crush them long term, but I think the Goons will always exist in Eve, perhaps it will be better for them just running around space taking shots at others and relying on a Citadel to make their ISK as Goblin has pointed out, but that is really a case of putting all their eggs in one basket and there are others that can do that too.

That they removed funding for CODE says a lot in terms of their weakness I think...

Seems to me that anything that makes Deklein look like an unsafe space for CFC, free for the taking, will help with the general perception that you need to go out there now to Deklein to jump on the World War B bandwagon.
