Christmas post

You already know my opinion on giftgiving so no need to repeat myself. Try not to eat too much candy!
Since you'll probably be overburdened by visiting your aunt and act like you'd love the 10th ugly sweater, there will be no posts until Dec. 27.

Oh and a useful gift from CCP: Power of 2 promotion. "The Power of 2 special offer is back! From now until Friday, January 04, 2013, you will be able to create a new account with 180 days of game time for the low price of €49.95 or 3 PLEX." How can you cash out on this? By creating a pilot(s) using this promotion, train it up and sell it on the bazaar when it's ready for some job. 180 days is normally 6 PLEX, so you can save 1.7B from the cost of your pilot.

PS: during the Holidays there will be periods I won't check on my computer so can't process comments.

There was an interesting article by Leonard Peikoff on why Christmas should be more commercial. As the intellectual heir to Ayn Rand I thought you'd be interested. Here it is: http://www.aynrand.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=5182&news_iv_ctrl=1382

At least I'm not the only one with such "radical" ideas.
Once I went to a birthday party from an ex who became a good friend and she INSISTED that I must buy a present! Sometimes I'm blown away by the arrogance of some people. When I'm celebrating Christmas, having my own birthday party or something else. I'm happy enough when people show up.

The least amount of effort towards me will be appreciated, also most people that know me luckily know that they mustn't buy presents for me and they know that if they still insist on giving me something they can give me a card with some money.
In return I give most of the time an equal amount of money back, depends on the situation at home.
