Friends vs profit

I've never-ever made a link post, doing nothing just show someone else's content, but it's just so good, that it is a must be. I agree completely. I may add an "or a hopelessly social person" to the last sentence, but it's still perfect.

Here!

Hi,
I recently received proposition from another business man on my realm to negociate and align our prices for some items.
What do the gobelin think about this 'anti-concurrent' behavior?

Collusion is a crime in the United States.

But this is WoW! Collusion with the agreement could mean bigger profits for you--IMO, go for it.

Unless the other one makes an alt, that starts undercuting both your prices and he locks you completely out of the market since you have agreed to a cartel treaty.

This is a very good question, though it can be as in the image, manipulated.
Help you're friend by giving them a boost, take every low item they might get, sell them at the auction house.
That way you might get paid for the time, (ofc not as much you would if you insted would had sat and made gold but you still made you're friend happy and making a few golds.

Or maybe he does the same. Thus negating the tactic. There still could be a benefit although a tenuous one. The fixed 'upper' price of the original merchants could help prop the price and keep the market in that range.

Disagree, I put the greens in the guildbank, but I get free enchants from the guild.
By the way, when I'm boosting someone, greens are mine blues are the boosted guy's.
