I started the GRR project at the end of 2014 January to fight the CFC, the largest coalition in EVE. The nicest commentary I got for it was "at least it's creating content". Practically no one supported it. The Goons were all over in laughter and trolling since my approach was "obviously" wrong: I wanted to fight a nullsec alliance in highsec. Then I supported "useless NPC trash" instead of their "real enemies".
A billion ISK dead CFC later they went into ignoring me. My forum topics got a few very busy Goon commenters. Their favorite word was "irrelevant". They took every opportunity to inform me that I do nothing and the by-the-time two trillion ISK of dead CFC does nothing, either because it's reimbursed (so the member had no loss) or because it's not reimbursed (so the alliance had no loss). The obvious problem with this logic somehow eluded them.
And now, look at this! The leader of the Goons calls his minions to do what? Join the "reavers", a group that is "tasked during war time to deploy into the enemies rear areas to be partisans". Sounds like Mordus Angels to me. Where else should busy little Goons join? For "the total devastation of any who oppose us, the Ministry of Love has been on an absolute rampage annihilating jump freighters". Yep, Goons are asked to go to highsec to wage wars on their enemies. Maybe the directorate didn't get the memo that these are irrelevant.
People consider the usual way the "good one". They consider everyone who disagrees with the "proven path" and idiot. Maybe because most of those who deviate it are idiots. I have no doubt that the initial laughing trolls were honestly sure that I'm just another lunatic. But then numerical results started to roll in. This convinced the leadership that my plan works. The random trolls got bored, so they directed the forum squad to start demotivating me with the "irrelevant" speech, with no avail, because I was always reinforced by better and better numbers. So finally they openly endorsed my ways and they became the new "proven path".
So dear readers, don't fear to deviate the "proven path" and ignore those who laugh. Just make sure you have numerical data to verify your ideas and don't afraid to pull the plug on the ideas that don't work.
Since Goons now follow my advice, let me remind them one that can save them from battles like this. Don't let the obvious kill take all your attention, give some to this too!

I read about the reavers and thought MA as well, I have to say it mittens at least knows a good thing when he sees: A content for his now pointless forces as they won't be a sov grinding. B: effective way to keep his opponents in the red.
Good job Goblin you just made my day no longer will I be forced to kills goons caracals endlessly but now I get to kill them in real ships for real isk. The only question I have is will the goons be as risk averse as they have been the last 2 years? I hope not

Miniluv has always killed jump freighters in highsec, it's not a new thing and neither is it about attacking nullsec entities to cripple their alliance or anything like that.
Specifically targeting nullsec people in highsec is useless so it's a good thing miniluv targets everyone not just people they consider enemies.
Most people have enough brains not to drive a wardecced JF into highsec. So if Goons want to kill the JFs of Nulli, they must kill every JF which isn't theirs.

Not really, the majority of JFs get through, losing a few is a calculated risk, and intelligence is a thing, so if goons want to kill the JFs of Nulli, they just need to know their pilots names, and the jump in points. (neither of these are secret, much like the goon jump in points are well known)
You realize miniluv has been going on since the first Burn Jita, which was almost 3 years ago? You can find almost the exact same thing in older State of the Goonions, almost since miniluv was created. Nothing is new here.
Also, I agree that Reavers are new, but Black Ops have been doing the same thing forever, deploying behind enemy lines during war. They where one of the reasons that EMP folded during/after the Halloween war, since they harassed them so much. They are making it more accessible now though, so that is new at least.
Or just, you know, use spies to determine which neutral alt/alt corp is the enemy JF driver and then suicide gank them.
You give yourself too much credit for all this - Minilu has been ganking unpersons for a long time now. Reavers have existed in the past under different names - without the focus and organization they have today though.
Yeah, as Babar said, both of these ideas have been around for pretty much ever. The jump changes are making them more useful than they have been, that's all.
The thing is, most people don't disagree that guerilla warfare is a good way to go. The reason they've always laughed at you is because first off you don't join in, you just throw isk at people, and secondly, the people you throw isk at are utterly useless. You measure everything in isk killed, but like we've said time and again, isk killed is not everything. Moa are incapable of hitting any target that actually hurts us, so all they do is pick off easy kills to buff their killboards. Marmite are exactly the same. The isk they kill is high, but the impact on our survival is nil. This is why over a year into the campaign, goons are still far stronger than when it started.
That explains why I saw Goon groups come to Oasa an log off.

Why would goons care about wardecs? The only thing that happens when you gank a non wardecced target is you lose security status (which is easily replaced) and your ship gets concorded.
I don't think miniluv has ever specifically gone after wardecced targets.
