How many of the people who sell data do you think go to prison each year? <br /><br />Credit card data has so much more than just the numbers to access your account. It has your name, your address, your bank address, your bank details. If I get your credit card and wire your money to my account, all I get is some jail time.<br /><br />The point of doing it with RMT is:<br />1: RMTer steals credit card of Adam<br />2: RMTer buys legit gold with it, paying for it with Adam's money<br />3: RMTer sells the gold to Bob (getting money from Bob)<br />4: Adam gets his money back from the game company<br />5: Game company might catches Bob, but Bob can't get his money back from RMTer<br /><br />In WoW, gold is mostly worthless (200K for $15 legit!!!), because the in-game value is gear that can't be traded. I haven't seen WoW goldsellers for long. Actually it's even easier on WoW, because Blizzard only bans the seller.<br /><br />And what does the fact that they allow gold speculation have do to with credit card fraud in the first place?
