Experienced players are able to present actual use cases of players and provide insight that CCP may have completely missed. CCP are not stupid, though they may make stupid decisions, they are not so easily manipulated. Have you even read the CSM minutes? CCP do not implement most of the ideas the CSM comes up with and often seem to ignore the CSM's criticisms of new features (Aegis Sov, Jump Fatigue and SP trading come to mind).
