I have belonged to two guilds during my Wow time, one a "casual" guild and now a "hardcore" guild. Never during my time playing have I cared one iota about other guilds achievements (not quite true now that I am in a progression based guild I do have some interest in how we stack up versus the other progression guilds) but really that is about it.
